I used these loads during my training for the 5K zombie run. A great source of protein, fibre and a mix of good fats, especially if you use hemp protein as it has a good balance between omega 3 and 6 fats. Plus some tasty peanut butter and chocolatey goodness just for good measure!
Plus they’re sweetened with fresh banana rather than dates which I feel makes a nice change.

Recipe– makes 14 balls
120g Peanut Butter
1 banana approx. 105g flesh
30ml milk if needed (any kind)*
20g cacao powder
65g hemp protein powder (or use your favourite plant protein)**
1 tspn pure vanilla powder or vanilla extract
optional: chopped nuts or seeds for rolling
Note: *Add in the milk last, you may not need it if your nut butter is quite oily/runny
**Different proteins have different absorbent capacities so you may need to adjust the recipe, only add the milk if needed, or add more protein to bind the mix so you can roll it. Also try to allow a few mins for the mix to firm up before rolling if it seems a tad soft

Directions
-Break the banana into chunks
-Add all of the ingredients (except chopped nuts/seeds) to a food processor and pulse until it all combines, add milk if needed
-Roll into balls then into chopped nuts/seeds and keep in the fridge in an air tight container.
